Latest 2013 HUFF Lodging Information

NEW:  Those who are part of running groups of 4 or more and would prefer inexpensive group lodging may contact us regarding dorm style lodging at Camp Lutherhaven just west of the Chain O’ Lakes State Park. This will be the site of the pasta dinner and evening before packet pick-up.

There are also individual bunk beds with mattresses in campground (dorm style) in The Lodge.

We have arranged a block of rooms at The Lodge, the Daniel Retreat Center and at new (2012) cabins.  These are heated rooms with bath and shower facilities in the building (bath and shower facilities for the cabins are in the Daniel Retreat Center). There are a limited number of rooms at The Lodge with bedding provided. The rooms in the Daniel Retreat Center and in the cabins have bunk beds with mattresses but require that you bring your own bedding such as pillows, blankets, sleeping bags or sheets.  This provids a lower-cost alternative for those ultrarunners used to camp-style lodging.  You may reserve a room as part of your online registration. (Do not contact Camp Lutherhaven directly).

There are rooms available at the Daniel Retreat Center that sleep up to 6 to 8  people.  The Daniel Center also has its own kitchen; you can click here to  see a pdf showing the  layout of the building and rooms and containing a description of the building.

Dormitory style bunk beds are still available at The Lodge. You can click here to see a pdf showing the layout of the rooms and a photo and description of the building.  The furnished rooms at The Lodge are very limited; you may click here to view a pdf of the Lodge private rooms.
